"Our Daughter, Heather (Jing)" My wife and I embarked on our Adoption adventure in January of 2006. Our log in date for China was September 11, 2006. It has been a long process and we were told in February that it would most likely be sometime in early 2010 before we would have the opportunity to travel to China and bring our daughter home. In March we made the decision to go with the special needs program. We were very fortunate to get a referral in just a couple of weeks. We are so blessed to welcome Mao Ai Jing into our family and hope to travel to China by August to bring our daughter home. The pictures below are the ones that we received from her referral package. We have decided to name her Heather Viola Jing Killackey. Viola was my wife's mothers name and her birth day corresponds with the day our daughter was left at the orphanage. We take this as further proof that she was meant to be part of our family. We received our Travel Authorization the end of June and will be traveling the end of August. Counting the days until we travel to Heather - See count down clock at the bottom of the page.
